iMediaShare – Share your iPhone Photos on your TV
iMediaShare is a great little iphone program that is free (yes, free) to use that shares your iPhone photos over WiFi to your PS3 or Xbox 360. This is a hassle free way to get all of your photos on your big screen TV, no cables, no transferring, no problem.
Simply log on to your iPhone and launch iMediaShare iphone app turn the server on, select the photos to add to the shared folder then your are done setting up your iPhone. Simply go on to your PS3 or Xbox 360 and browse to the media section and select photos and find your iPhone under the available photo categories.
Then from there you should be able to access all of the photos you wish on your big screen to the whole family or friends.
This is a feature that I never thought would be possible from the iPhone due to Apple’s restrictions, but iMediaShare app for iphone and ipod touch does a great job being innovative.
The User interface isn’t pretty but it works. The magic is supposed to be on your T.V and not on your iPhone so spend more time enjoying the photos on the big screen and less time focusing on the iPhone interface.
iMediaShare is only version 0.9.1 and has a lot more potential. Their are possibilities of movie and video sharing, but that could create copyright problems for Apple and the developer so that great feature may never actually come to fruition due to the movie industry and DRM protection.
