Pocket god is a variety of god name for iphone or ipod touch. It was developed by the bolt creative. It was programmed by Dave Castelnuovo and it was designed by Allan Dye. Pocket god iPhone application is available in several iphones. Pocket god is a smaller version of a god game meaning that the player takes the role of an omnipotent being that rules over an island and controls almost everything present. The primitive islanders, known as pygmies are subject to the player’s god powers. These range from benevolent powers, such as giving the islanders a fishing rod, some are destructive, like summoning a hurricane and some are simply entertaining such as levitating the pygmies. Some of the built in features of iphone are used, such as accelerometer to simulate gravity and earthquakes. Most of these features can be toggled on the games menu bar.

Pocket god iphone app is available in most of the iphones as it is the most favorite game among the children’s. Pocket God is an entertaining app that lets us to explore multiple ways of tormenting our cute little islanders. Toss a couple in the volcano, fry one with a bolt of lightening, or tilt the iPhone and watch them slide right into the ocean. If we run out of islanders, simply add some more and continue at will.

Tossing islanders in the volcano can be a little challenging at times, which is probably where most people will find the replay value for the time being. If we manage to toss three islanders in the volcano, we are rewarded with an eruption that will rain molten lava onto the remaining inhabitants of the island. We can watch the islanders run around and leap into the ocean where they promptly drown. Sure it’s sadistic, and yet strangely cute. This is the way to play the pocket god game in the iphone. It is easy to play and we can easily download this pocket god game application in the iphone. Pocket God is entertaining, but as it is, it falls short in the long run. There simply is not enough to the app to keep my attention for an extended period of time. While really entertaining for a few minutes, the joy of destroying islanders fades quickly. Thus it makes our time more enjoyable with pocket god.
